Passive calibration target for Infrared Cameras
Delivered a presentation at Quantitative InfraRed Thermography (QIRT) in 2016. This research outlines our innovative work on a passive calibration target designed for the calibration of multiple cameras with various modalities, including NIR, LVIR, and SWIR. Our proposed calibration target, in tandem with our interactive calibration platform, enables accurate feature detection at considerable distances, under diverse lighting conditions, and in the presence of elevated noise levels. This innovative calibration rig contributes to accurate spatial alignment and geometric calibration of infrared cameras across different spectral bands, addressing challenges posed by varying environmental conditions.
